Designing is fun, but it also isn’t easy. I find myself spending lots of time on sites such as Dribbble or Behance looking for ideas or inspiration on how to go forth with my design.
Since coming in to the Iron Yard’s Accelerator, I’ve been designing more than I ever did for my projects or homework at The Art Institute. Every day it seems that I design a new mockup to go out and validate it.
Sketching is great. I’m not the best at drawing but to depict something for people, pen and paper will be the quickest route. In my opinion sketching is too complicated. I like to do everything on my computer, I feel that it’s easier than looking for your favorite pen or 4H pencil.
